X aka X/1999

Reviewer: Starzflower
Author: CLAMP, OHKAWA Ageha
Genre: Shounen action fantasy drama
Status: 20 volumes so far (not sure if it has ended or not)
Rating: 10/10
This manga is not your average boy meets girl manga.

It is yet another great work of the authors called CLAMP.

The promised day is creeping closer, the day where the world may end. This will be decided on the one called, Kamui; whether he chooses to become one of the 7 dragons of heaven and save this world which we know, or become one of the 7 dragons of earth and destroy this world to start anew and fresh once again.

And who is kamui? A sweet 15 year old high school boy.

The fate of the world is not an easy task, not anyone and Kamui must accept his destiny. He will witness the death of those close to him until that promise day arrives...

This is my first review so I hope I didn't give too much away and its not confusing or vague.

If you like interesting twisted plots I definitely recommend you read this manga! It very deep and you will absolutely fall in love with the artworks

I only watched the anime and I loved it so much ! Usually I read shoujo and nothing else but X is very interesting and the main subject (saving human race or not) is thoughtful. Personnally I would have killed them all... (like the Dragoon of the Earth or something like that ?)
